Can my dog travel on BAT buses in Bornholm?

What this means for you: Bornholm’s buses take dogs on a lead for a child fare, island-wide — and the ferry from Ystad or Køge takes dogs too. Rønne to the beaches and the round-island routes are all on. BAT doesn’t publish a dog page of its own; the national rules are the rule.

- Small dogs and other small pets ride free in a bag, cage or transport box they stay in for the whole trip. A bigger dog — one that isn’t in a bag — rides on a lead, under your control, for a child fare. One dog on a lead per customer. Staff decide whether there’s room.

- Nothing beyond the national rule. BAT has no local exception in the common rules.
- How much
- A child ticket for a dog outside a bag. A dog in a bag rides free.

- On the floor, on a lead. Never on a seat.
