Documents are part of the ticket
Carry the vaccination record and identification documentation, not only the fare. Dangerous-breed restrictions and assistance-dog exceptions are separate.
Both major metros publish large-dog access
Lisbon Metro permits dogs outside a container with a muzzle, short lead and documents. Porto Metro’s official transport conditions also allow them under lead and muzzle rules.
Do not extend metro rules to buses
Carris, STCP and national coach companies are separate operators. Their restrictions must be checked before relying on a road connection.
